Why can’t I access the site?
-Make sure you have a connection to the Internet.
-Make sure you are typing in the proper url.
-Make sure you are not behind a Firewall.
-From time to time the server may go down for short periods of time. Wait
a while then try again.
What are the system requirements?
-Pentium II PC or Macintosh equivalent.
-Video card and display capable of displaying 800x600 resolution or better
(lower resolution okay but will require a lot of scrolling).
-Flash Player version 5 or better.
-Sound card and speakers or headphones.
-A version 4 or later web browser. Internet Explorer 5 or newer strongly
recommended.
-An Internet connection.
What is the Macromedia Flash Player?
Macromedia Flash Player is the client for rich web experiences across
multiple platforms. With Macromedia Flash Player, web users worldwide
can view and interact with content developed in Macromedia Flash MX. Over
474 million online users have Macromedia Flash Player installed and can
immediately view Macromedia Flash content. The estimated download time
for the player is: 2 minutes @ 56K modem.
How do I know if I have the Macromedia Flash
Player?
Directly below the login you will see a notification area. A message will
appear notifying you whether or not you have the player and where it can
be downloaded.
Why can’t I login?
-Make sure you are typing in the correct user name and password.
-Check with your HR Admin to make sure you have been entered into the
system.
-If you have failed the test three times you will be automatically locked
out.
-If you have not completed the course within thirty days you will be locked
out.
Why can’t I hear anything?
-Make sure your computer is equipped with a soundcard.
-Check to make sure the volume is turned up.
-Make sure all of the cords and cables are properly attached.
How long do the movies take to load?
This ultimately depends on what type of Internet connection you have.
For cable and DSL users the movies will load quite quickly. For those
with slower connections such as 56K it may take a minute or two.
Why does my computer crash when the movies
play?
Make sure your computer matches the system requirements. This should only
happen in rare instances. Computers that match the system requirements
should not have any problems.
What are those blue buttons in the bottom right
corner of the movies?
Those are movie controls. By pressing the buttons you are able to play,
pause, fast forward, rewind and stop the movie.
What are those blue buttons in the bottom
left corner of the movies?
Those are the extra info buttons. When you see a button pop up it means
that there is extra information about that subject available. Pressing
the button will pause the movie and launch a pop up window containing
the extra information.
How many times can I watch the movies?
You can watch the movies as many times as you need to. You should only
proceed to the testing section when you are comfortable and ready.
How many chances do I have to pass the test?
You have 3 chances to pass each test.
Do I have to finish the course in one session?
You have 30 days from the day you sign in to finish the course. You may
finish the course one segment at time or all at once it’s all up
to you.
Why can’t I print my certificate?
-To obtain your certificate you must pass all four segments.
-Check to make sure your computer is hooked up to a printer.
-Make sure there is ink in your printer cartridge
What do I do if I forgot to print my certificate or if I lost it?
Contact your Human Resource Administrator. The HR Admin has the ability
to print a users certificate at any time. The users certificate is stored
in a database until the next time the user completes the training at which
point it is overwritten by a new one.
What do I do if I lost my password?
Contact your HR Admin they will have access to it.
